This is Shreya and Srishti who were killed by a tipper while going to school with their father this morning #RIP

Rohan Tamang was in a hurry on Wednesday morning as he had to take his daughters to school if the school bus missed. His house is near Gokarneshwar municipality-1 Shwetwarhi temple.

The 8-year-old eldest daughter Srishti was studying in class 2 at World Youth International School. 4-year-old Shreya was also admitted to the nursery class of the same school this year after the lockdown was opened after the Corona epidemic. Rohan also used to take his two daughters to the bus stop on a motorcycle in the morning .

It takes about 10 minutes by motorbike to reach there. Sometimes it was late. Principal Nirajan Sedhai said, "If the bus left late, I would have to cover four kilometers and bring both my daughters to school on a motorcycle." On Wednesday, he had the same behavior.

However, this time it was not like usual, Rohan could not even reach the bus stop with his daughters. School buses do not reach most of the inner roads of Kathmandu. Parents must escort their children to the halfway point. The road is being blacked out in the area where he lives.

A sand-laden tipper was moving ahead on the black-paved road. Rohan followed. While driving, the vehicle coming from the opposite direction could not pass. Suddenly the tipper number BA4KH 6965 started backing up, Rohan was honking the bike's horn.

The tipper with the back didn't even hear his horn. And left them soon. After being hit by the tipper, the daughters who fell from the bike fell on the same tire. They lost their lives on the spot. A school bus with other students was waiting nearby. Rohan could not reach the bus stop because he had met with an accident.

The bus waiting for Srishti and Shreya left for school when they did not come. On the other hand, after Tipper took the life of his sister, the whole town was in an uproar, drowned in grief. Rohan, who was seriously injured by the same tipper, was taken to Nepal Medical College, Attarkhel.

Angry locals and relatives set fire to the tipper after killing two girls. The tipper driver fled immediately. Tires burned on the road, the road was closed at Melamchi Chowk. The police also fired tear gas to disperse the locals.

There was no education in school. 'We have stopped all the students. The situation outside is tense. "There is mourning in the school," Sedhai said, "when the situation outside becomes normal, the students will leave." Sai Dev Sagar Tamang of Police Station, Melamchi, said that preparations are being made for talks between the two sides. Ujir Karki/Nepal News
